AVAILABLE DOGS

     This is Trisha! She's a 3 year old Saluki mix originally from Oman. She came to the US in 2021. Her owner passed away & she sadly found herself with no one to care for her. Trisha is a super happy girl & is still very active! She'll need a fenced yard with at least a 5 ft fence & also a playful dog in her home. Because she plays rough, she'll do best with dogs at least 30 lbs & we'll say that she's probably not cat friendly either. 

She's currently being fostered in IN, but can travel for the right family! 

 Introducing Cairo, the spotty boy with the kissy spot on his head. Cairo is a 2 year old podenco found abandoned on the street, but was lucky to have found our friends at SOS Podenco Rescue. He is shy with unknown people, but playful once he knows you. He is very social with other dogs & loves to play with them. Ideally he would need another dog to keep him company & he would do best with no men in the house. It would also be best for him to have a fenced yard and live in a fairly quiet area & at the moment he's still petrified with the leash & will need work to get him used to it. Smallish size, around 45 cm to the shoulders. Cairo is looking for a family of his very own! Don't miss out on this stunning boy. He's currently being fostered in VA, but can travel for the right family. 

 We'd like to introduce you to BECKHAM! This sweetie is an approximately 7 year old Italian greyhound (he is a biggy iggy at 16 lbs), who just arrived to the US a few weeks ago. So far, Beckham seems very sweet, and he knows how to do tricks for treats, like shaking a paw, so he was a pet at some point in his life before being rescued in S. Korea by our friends at Team Inch Sighthound Rescue.
Beckham can be quite the stubborn boy & will need a family who understands the breed & won't let him get the upper hand.

This stunning Podenco arrived to Chicago a couple weeks ago from SOS Podenco Rescue & is ready for any & all adventures! He's 1 year old (just a baby!) & would be fabulous on hikes or even doing dog sports! He absolutely loves to please his people. He's also cat workable. He'll need a fenced yard for exercise along with regular walks. If you're looking for a dog ready to hang out with you for every road trip & adventure, this boy is for you! He's also great with other dogs.
